It's not what it looks like
Judith has never loved her husband Ernest, the head of a university department. And yet she married him. To add a little excitement to her dull life as a telephone operator, she has been secretly seeing Paul, her husband’s colleague. But one of their regular meetings is suddenly interrupted by Ernest’s early return from work.
At first glance, the situation seems manageable enough, since Ernest is blind. All the lover has to do is leave quietly. But things are not always as they seem…
The play is based on an already existing work by an unspecified author, whose demographic details shall also remain unspecified. Put simply, we do not have the rights. Even so, that rather awkward fact did not discourage the shameless creators of Divadlo Zrakáč from staging this delightful comedy.
Running time: 45 minutes, no intermission
The rehearsal process, performances, and revivals of the production were financially supported by the Bratislava City Foundation, the SPP Foundation, and the ZSE Foundation.
